That made me laugh. After a day of desperate phone banking I needed that. Thx!

Probably a vintage PAM first, then a Patek.

This isn't offered like this, but modded easily enough with a WG bezel. Absolutely LOVE the dial - Ice blue all the way, with ICE!

Anybody in the USA buying lottery tickets for tonight's mega billion drawing.
White gold and platinum differ slightly in color and shade. White gold is warmer, as it's an alloy which is composed in three quarters out of pure, yellow gold and then coated with rhodium or palladium. With time, the coating fades and the color difference becomes more substantial.
Platinum is pretty cold and unsaturated, more like stainless steel. So i guess an SS bezel would be more accurate.
The font on the SS bezels is entirely different, and much less attractive. But hey, with a billion bucks I guess I can get someone to make me a platinum bezel with the precious metal fonts!

I guess I could afford to buy everyone a real Rolex but they’d have to change to “GenGeek”:D
Rolex President - bling bada BLING
Maybe treat myself to a noob v3 Daytona
@Frankyray
Over 55 posts today, congratulations.:eek::eek::eek:
https://www.repgeek.com/search.php?searchid=7425908&pp=
You will soon reach 100 posts and will be able to sell something,
You could reach 100 posts by the end of tomorrow very easily:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
The link didn’t come up with anything? I’ve been a member for years but just never been very active with posting and came on here to do some research on a watch and then buy one and not really come on here in between as I would usually wear the watch as it was ootb but I really want a 116500 and been finding out a lot about the mods today.
Buy a smaller swiss micro brand and make and sell 1:1 of the models I like
A gen sub for sure I've heard that they increase rapidly in value.
New hair! I am going bald
Panerai 172
Build a rocket ship like Bozos and Richard Branson
Patek 5711
I Would buy hundreds and hundreds of watch, preferably solid platinum or solid gold or iper complicated.
My watch of choice right now would be the Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight Planètarium

1. RM35 RAFA
2. RM55 BUBBA
3. RM70 AP
4. RM61 YB
5. RM56 Crystal
A billion you say, not sure if that is Dollars, Euros or Sterling, but hey I’m not going to get picky.
I’d finance the purchase of a rep for every member here. (You see I’m really a nice guy).
At the current count of just under 50k members on RepGeek that would approximate, at an average of 600 (fill in your own currency) per rep, to around 30 million.
That would leave me enough change to buy any gen watch I liked, several in fact – per year.
I'd get an H factory Skyland Avenger.
LOL
Probably a Comex 1665.
Always loved those.

Honestly based on just actual "looks" I have found many watches under 500 dollars that just look fantastic to me. I would most likely go on a microbrand buying spree first and after I got that out of my system I would find a nice gen. Right now I believe I would buy a Breitling Avenger Chrono 'Night Mission" as well as an Omega Planet Ocean. I know many will not agree however personally the very high end 15k watches often do not do it for me visually. I know the tradition, craftsmanship, reliability and prestige is there however again every single gen watch I lust after is usually under 6k and many under 3k.
Alot of today's Billionaires don't even wear fancy watches:
Bill Gates
Elon Musk
Warren Buffet
Jeff Bezos
Personally, I'd just buy a nice Rolex and call it a day.
I never even had Omega on my radar until I purchased a Seamaster rep as well as a Planet Ocean 600m. After wearing both reps I simply have to save for a gen. I believe Omega makes some of the best looking watches out there. I also really have a thing for some of the IWC and Breitling stuff. If I had the cash no doubt I could find many watches to spend it on....kind of an addiction as many of you already know.
Bill (Gates) notoriously loves Casio watches, hes not so much interested in luxury watches...and luxury in General it seems ....
Anyway, i dont think we must consider the 'current ' richest list...i mean, look at this article from 2017
These Are the Watches Worn by Some of the Most Powerful Tech CEOs
I was sure that a top guy like Larry Ellison (Oracle Corp) was also a watch enhusiast..
A nice understated Pam
I would buy every single Casio and Casio Edifice known to man, so that I could annoy the guy next to me at the billionaires club with photos of my Casio collection that cost more than the Richard Mille RM-900000 Triple Tourbillon skeleton monstrosity with a built-in espresso machine and a permanent satellite link to Instagram he will be wearing.
If I won a BILLION dollars, I would never need to tell time again...haha.
That said, I would purchase an 18K YG Breitling Emergency Mission on a YG bracelet, as well as an 18K WG Emergency II, on 18k WG bracelet, and finally, a platinum Rolex President on an alligator strap for my father, and RG Datejust on RG jubilee for Mom. (If the wife was in to watches, an RG Datejust for her, as well. But she's not, so I'd get her a 2022 Bentley SUV.)
The cars I would buy, however, would put an incredible dent in my billion:
1990 Mercedes 560sec for my dad, in his choice of colors
Mercedes Gwagen for my mom, in silver
1990 BMW M3 EVO, black
1988 BMW M6, black
1997 BMW 850Csi, Laguna blue
2003 BMW M5, Alpine White
2003 BMW M5, black
2022 BMW Alpina B6, white
1984 Lamborghini Countach, black
1973 Lamborghini Countach, brown or blue (the brown is actually SEXY)
2022 BMW Alpina B7, Alpine White
2007 BMW Alpina B7, blue
1980 BMW M1 (Race spec), white with M graphics
1985 Mercedes AMG Hammer, black
1988 Koenig Testarossa, Fly Yellow
1973 Ferrari Dino, Red
1973 Ferrari Daytona Coupe, black
1980 DeTomaso Pantera, white
And perhaps a Porsche 930 turbo as a beater...lol.
My neighbors would be PISSED.
Dang, that's a nice car collection I'd put my stamp of automotive approval under. My only changes would be the two Countachs. Yes, I admit I had a Countach poster above my teenager bed, but somehow lost appreciation for the design for some reason.
So I would replace them with a BMW Z8 and a serious US vintage muscle car: A 1960s Shelby Mustang (e.g. GT500 Super Snake) or something similar. I have little love for American brands otherwise, but fat and high-powered 1960s and early 70s muscle cars tickle my fancy a lot! [emoji1]

Driving this car while wearing this super rare Speedmaster Ref. 2915-1 that was auctioned for $3.4M:
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...bdec64cc55.jpg
Now that combination right there would be my idea of a "billionaire style"! [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
I would buy a small high end swiss watch making outfit, do limited edition runs of really well built watches, give it to celebs and billionaire friends, and sell more to make another billion :)
