No offense but the sizing for Brooks brothers is terrible. Typical American sizing. It fits only if you are a twig or obese. If you have any kind of athletic body it looks like you have a parachute on.

Now here's the kicker, each size has 3 sub sizes. Classic, slim and tailored slim. Thats in order of biggest to largest. I have a feeling that the smallest of one size and the largest of the next can be quite close so there's some overlap but the cut isn't 100% the same. Things like the neck and cuffs can differ but because of all the sizes you can pretty much find something fitted to your body without going to a tailor unless you've got a really odd shaped body.
If you're decently fit I would start with the medium tailored slim and small slim.
I actually fit quite well in their tailored slim fit XL shirts. But I only like the shirts with the spread collars.
