mmmm....PM a mod....it's working fine for me.
its not all the time, but happens more and more. I will get a screen shot next time it happens
Same issue here. Thought it was just me since I've been using my phone lately
I hear it's an issue with the board software. It doesn't work reliably in anything but IE8 and Firefox. No IE9 or Chrome or Safari (Safari stopped working at my iOS update to v5). It's really annoying to have to load Firefox just to read this board. I HATE Firefox now. I used to love it, but it's become everything they trashed IE about years ago, a bloated unstable pig of a browser. PLEASE fix the board to work with current browsers!
same with me, works 50% of the time and other 50 I get the message above. Usually on Iphone Safarri browser
I'm using chrome and have never had any issues.
This happens a lot on my iPad (safari)
I use tapatalk instead
No problems for me.
Just bought a new puter with IE9 aqnd new post function does not work either.
Kinda worrying that no mods are replying.
Same thing here , really annoying :( wish I knew what the problem was :(
I switched to tapatalk on my IPhone as it bothered me a great deal that the new posts rarely functioned.
Tapatalk for the most part does make reading and responding to posts faster and the new post feature functions well.
It costs $2.99 I think on the apple app store.
Going to try tapatalk on the i pad as it is doing my head in lol
works fine with chrome, and my droid has been problem free. the wifey's vista comp running firefox has that problem sometimes.
i have the same problem...but i have a solution.
click on quick links, just to the right of new posts. then select todays post in the drop down menu.
problem solved.
Bump test.
Still no mod comment?
Can some one please actually look into this. The past 3 days, have not worked. I have tried everything on my end to resolve this and it will not work. Which leads me to think this on your end.
Thanks
Mikey

Same for me since I got an iPhone. The problem arises with the 'today's threads' suggestion as well, after using it a couple of times.
Only option for both is to clear your data & cookies and then it works ok for a while again. Haven't tried tap talk yet, so that might be the the next option, if this can't be resolved.
I just sent a message to the mods, but I'm sure they're aware already. Funny how pissy we all get when everything doesn't go just right!
Tapatalk app seems to be the only solution for iPhone users
It has it's own flaws and cost $2 from itunes but overall improves your phone use experience on this site as well as for rwg, rwi, etc...
New posts work very well with tapatalk
I have iphone 4 4.3.3 and it works beautifully
Maybe but most iPhone users are using 5.0 software and it does not seem to work on that any longer
I am talking about on my pc.... Running Google chrome

sooo, this is still not working....
It`s quite clear that no one cares.
Having no problems with Chrome, FF or Safari here.
For those with IE9 (which is an absolute POS, I might add) I STRONGLY suggest using something - anything - else. If you're stuck with it, however, try turning on compatibility mode. Might help...
For iPhone users, tapatalk is the solution, and works well...
sooo, remind me why i donated to keep this site running?
I am having this issue multiple times a day now.
It works sometimes...
Any comments from Admin??
When clicking the new posts link produces no results it's because the searchid has expired, try clicking it twice in a row and you'll get the same searchid both times which is to reduce load on the server, why the browser (or forum?) loads an expired searchid when you havnt clicked the new posts button for hours or days I have no idea.
When it's not working, pasting http://www.repgeek.com/search.php?do=getnew in the URLbar usually works here Safari/iPhone/iPad
