German Area

An Italian one and Spanish area exist already, would be cool if there were a German area too!

I think we are looking at consolidating all of the areas back to english, as it is the common language here. We will discuss this between the staff.

You´re right about this, Spanish and Italian exists already, unfortunately in the first one nobody is posting, they prefere the spanish forums to do it, the italian one is going quite good.

That is a bad idea !

We have gotten several requests over the past two weeks for this. We are evaluating the idea.

The other sections are staying there and not going anywhere.

I don't think it is a good idea.. We also have quite some French and Dutch members... will we be creating subfora for them too??

Or do the Germans, Italian, French, Dutch a.o. have something to hide from the rest of us???

This is a (sort of) public forum.. I've seen some threads in the Italian section that were very informative and interesting, but I just couldn't read them because they were Italian..

RepGeek is here to share information, not to hide it. Unless your idea is to post something in German AND in English.

btw, I can read and speak German..

Its not so only about the language but to get to know your fellow countrymen.
Helpful for questions on German custom-problems, exchanging infos on German watchmakers,
get in contact with fellow geeks from your country or even city...

Also it might make the entry easier for newbies with poor language skills.

There's a Spanish and an Italian section already, so why not puting up a German one too?
