Is there no "ignore" option?

Mostly people's avatars that show their "unique" sense of humor. I have found that these avatars tend to correspond with people that post on every thread and provide no information. I have no way of knowing when I click on a thread who has posted, so I get to see stuff I don't want to see, and stuff I don't want to read.

You can go into your control Panel and disable avatar and signatures on your settings but cant ignore a persons posts from a certain thread. You can only block users in the PM system.

I put a user on my ignore list and any thread I look at and he posted in all I see instead of his post, is this user is being ignored. No avatar no signature and best of all no post.

Click Private Messages and it will take you to your control panel. Look down on the left side of the screen in the miscellaneous section for ignore/buddy lists and add any users you want to ignore to that list.

Click the users name, click View Profile, click Add to Ignore List.

... or you can go to User CP--->Edit Options--->Thread Display Options and uncheck the ones you don't need.

You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

Go to User CP, then go to the control panel (rectangular thingy) scroll down until you see Buddy/Ignore list click that and ignore or make people your body
