Moving to Vancouver
Hello all, in my haste to engage with the good folk of this forum I believe that I forgot to introduce myself, which quite frankly, was a little rude.
My name is Graham, and I stumbled across RG a few months ago in my search for a gen graduation present for myself. Needless to say I was bitten by the rep bug, justifying my actions with a try-before-you-buy mentality. Well, five watches later, and I am still without a gen, but hopefully not for too much longer.
In just over two weeks, I am giving up a great job in construction law in my home town of Sydney, in order to chase the dream in Vancouver, B.C. As a life-long skier, the west coast of the US/Canada is a place that I have travelled and worked on several occasions, but never to Vancouver.
So to all those Geeks out there in Van, I’d appreciate any feedback on where to eat, drink and hang out in the city. I would love to attend a GTG as well if we could get one organised.
