Seriously, you need to check out the features of the forum before you tell the admin that the look of the forum needs sorting.

I concur. My immediate thought was WTF, only two posts and already criticising the forum? This is a person that must have recently read that book ‘How to Lose Friends Before You Make Them and Alienate People’. Oh well.
It’s a bit like if I said “Welcome the the forum Bigperm, you act like a knob”. Doesn’t exactly sit well does it?

Don’t mean to pile on but it seems your perm is not the only thing big on you - got a big pie hole too, it seems. Look, we’re friendly and helpful here, but you have to understand it’s a two-way street.
Now, welcome to the club. How may we assist you? Use the damn search button!

Perhaps you started off on the wrong foot. Opening with a criticism never endears anyone to you. We are a friendly bunch in reality, if you choose to stick around that will become more evident.
Welcome and enjoy.

+1 Kinda like entering a store and looking for the manager because you don't like the color of the walls. Well probably worse than that because this particular store can change the color of the walls, you just have to ask nicely. Very different ways to go about it.

Are you 5?

my friend ... I doubt anyone on here is 5 ... but many are probably much older than you are ... the advice that was given to you was only after your first post you mocked the forum and to some extant the members that run it ... so who is 5?
a very simple "hey guys, I'm new here ... looking for a Rep to add to my Gen collection ... but first I would like to know if I can change the screen color?" .... I mean something like that ....
there would be several guys here that would've gladly helped in a jiffy!
I also want to add ... because this place is termed a "Rep" site does not mean that we all do not have Gens ourselves ... as a matter of fact, many Gen collectors are on here for 1 simple reason .. "Information not found in Gen sites!"
So if you really want to learn more than you ever wanted about watches, both Reps & Gens .... you can be chill about it, hang out ... and you will meet lots of cool individuals from across the globe.
and welcome to RG

I got more sense than a 39-year old, I can tell you that. Seriously, be like the song in Frozen and let it go.
