Hi from Scotland
Hi folks, just new into the world of reps - In the process of purchasing my first rep a superocean abyss from angus. I Have a gen speedmaster moonwatch and it does'nt leave my wrist as a result its getting dinged and bashed. So would love a good rep to replace as my daily wearer. I've actually cracked (from the inside) the hesalite crystal after diving and hitting the bottom with my watch hand, watch did'nt leak and crack is inside the crystal (really odd like cracked ice).
So hence my interest into the world of repping...
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Rusky!
That crystal on your Omega can be replaced pretty easily.
Glad you found us before you ordered your first rep. So many folks find the forums AFTER they get ripped off by a scammer on the internet. Do yourself a favor and only use the trusted dealers here and on the other rep forums. The trusted dealers have been vetted and have a history of being honest.
Jump right in and join the conversations. We're a freindly bunch for the most part.

Cheers guys, Totally agree learning every day In the past I've been tempted but didn't and now I'm pretty excited about possibly starting a collection! The crystal could be replaced by a watch smith that does services on my buddy's rolex a 70 year old watchmaker who works from his house, but he didn't want to guarantee the waterproofing after just replacing the crystal and not the seals...but then id still be looking now I've caught the bug.
