    Default Hey Hey

    Hi Guys,

I have been a massive fan of watches since I was growing up.

Last year I bought myself a gen 2002 Rolex datejust and fell in love with it, a long with a Omega Seamaster.

But I am not really keen on forking out big big money on watches like that again and really putting this post up to gain some advice and where is the best place to get some top quality replicas.. money is not a big big issue I would pay up to 400 pounds for a top one with box, ect.

Been put off replicas for a while as my past two literally fell apart and lost the time in like two days, also wanting a dealer who can do quick shipment to the UK and provides great aftersales service.

Take your time and don't rush into buying something that you might regret later. (I did)
If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to learn all there is to know about the movements.
The aesthetic look of something is useless if the thing won't tick.
If you are trying to replicate a gen inside and out, then you will have to rely on an Asian clone of some sort.
As for me I don't care what it looks like inside as long as it is reliable - in other words Swiss.
Loads of info here and welcome.

    Hi There,

Thank you for that, just really puzzled on which dealer to go for! It's a totally new buying experience for me, so I am totally clueless on where I should start!

Just stick to the TDs (Trusted Dealers) listed on this forum. The TDs don't make the watches, they only sell them and they all source from the same factories. You will get to know which rep is deemed the best from which factory. This takes some time, which is why I said don't rush. Once you decide on a particular make and model, type it into the search engine and go from there.

+1 on not being hasty. Take your time. Look at all the watches. Check out the TD’s websites. When you start zeroing in on a watch you want, use the RG search engine to find out what others have to say about it, which factory makes the best version, and what “version” it is. If you’re lucky you may even pick up some TD feedback along the way. Before you know it, you’ll know EXACTLY what you want and the dealer you want to get it it for you. Enjoy the ride... it’s a blast!
