    Default Hi from SF!

Hi everyone, I just joined a few weeks ago and have been lurking and reading a ton-- What a wonderful community of enthusiasts! I live in San Francisco and am brand new to rep watches, so still reading and looking to purchase my first. The choices seem endless and I particularly enjoy learning how sone users are modding their reps. What a hobby!

I think I'd like a 116520 white dial Daytona as my first rep, although after reading a thousand posts about the Noob vs ARF I may hold off and wait for some resolution on this hah!

If anyone has suggestions for local watchmakers to the Bay Area that are comfortable w servicing/modding reps please let me know.

Otherwise have a great day everyone and go pats!

Welcome to RG. I found, from my own experience, that it's a good idea to do as much research and reading before making any purchase. So annoying when you find out about the wrinkles afterwards.
