Solid Los Angeles Watch Shop, finally!
For all you LA guys, Montana Clock Shop on Montana and 16th in Santa Monica did a few watches for my brother and I. Greek dude (John) and his son had no problems working on reps - I was up front about it right off the bat. My brother and I have taken several things there in the last 4 months or so. My brother had them swap an gen ETA into a tudor rep ($45), refurb a gen vintage omega quartz from the 70s, including sourcing parts and fixing the movement that no one else would touch ($200), I had a crown swap on a 243 rep, movement regulated and pressure test ($85), Main spring swap on a 116, regulate and pressure test ($175) and a gen RW that was eating batteries like it was a waffle house buffet, he cleaned the movement, battery swap and repolished/brushed watch and bracelet ($85).
Anyhoo, that's my experience for what it's worth - hope it helps.

i hope you checked with our super Greek before posting here
last thing he'd want in a business requiring patience is to be annoyed by tyre kickers looking for the perfect sub
so many watches, so little time ... even less money !
