Complaints about Noob Factory
Hey RGeekers,
read on the other forum. A very reputable TD has stated the TD will not want to sell Noob watches till further notice. Poor aftersales service, no repairs, and waiting for several months for returns for watch repairs. Just a heads up for us here who are considering Noobs.

Without specifics, this would just be conjecture and rumors. Link to said post by this TD?

Any chance that you could copy/paste or get a good quality screen print? It looks as if you have to sign in to view that thread.

I just Quote This :
Hi Members,
now i don't want to sell Noob factory watch, if your guy need noob watch, choose other TD on forum. Good luck.
Now no after service from the N factory, Even new watch from them, if any flaw, hard to get after service from them.
In the past, if new watch have problem, u can exchange it the next day. if old watch have problem, u can send it back for service, and get it back within 2~3 days. But now within one month, you can't get it back, even two month, if you are lucky, they will repair it and return it to u. if not luck, when watch is back, the problem still exist, no repairment.:choke:
Boss change, then everything change.
I am lucky, only one watch was blocked in NF. Hope they can return it to me soon, two month is a long waiting time. my customer want to :choke:
regards
mary

When did Noob's ownership change? The last time was when Noob disposed almost all of their PAMs. Is this really due to new management? Anyway, it's something to consider. Ask your TD about it if you're ever going to order a Noob factory watch.

thanks
@thenut
I just logged on and saw this. Besides this, there is also another hilarious thread of a guy who got the Noob GMT 2, and the first thing that happened was that the whole ceramic bezel assembly just literally fell off the watch and refused to be re-attached. Alas, the guy got banned as he went to lodged a PayPal charge-back dispute which is a no-no in our fora. Just re-emphasizes that the rep buying business is just is, crap happens.

i've not heard or had any experience of this with noob lately so not sure how much truth I would put in this. The replica rumor mill is in full swing I see lol

thanks@thenut for sharing...If other TD's would do this too, Noob would be forced to change their aftersales

Maybe, maybe not. You have to realize, we are not the majority of the market, spending wise, only knowledge wise. The unsuspecting majority who probably pay much more for the high-end reps (where Noob's market is) will continue to buy accepting that they don't have any recourse in case there are problems, unlike our situation where the TD system is in place.
-
I'd also like to hear from other, preferably RG TDs. Are they having similar issues?
I am not doubting the experiences of the TD that wrote this, but it may be better to get a larger representative sample of evidence before completely condemning the factory.
Having said that, it might be a sensible precaution to avoid Noob output until we know more.

This is all hearsay from a new member with 17 posts. I'm calling:

There is a link provided to RWG on post #3 with MaryWatch declaring not to sell Noob for the meantime. While I would not put stock in a new member's words, Mary is a long time dealer with good standing over there.

Ahhh, sorry - I didn't see that. It had a "no permission" error link notification earlier, so not a clue what it was supposed to be. Thanks for the clarification, M. Yes - Mary has been selling honorably for a long time.
My apologies, OP. Nothing personal - I've just seen too many low-post/new members making claims which served somebody else's purpose (the new member often being a fake account to do just that).

This is weird... If the QC is that lousy on a noob I wonder whether it is worthwhile to buy the Dayton as... At $600... It's not chump change for a watch that turns out to be a paperweight due to poor qc

Does this mean that all our 'pre-current factory ownership' Noobs are now at a premium as it seems that the quality is affected as well as the service.
Perhaps the pre-owned sales of Noobs by members should have the suffix BNO (Before New Ownership) and PNO (Post New Ownership).
Of course this is dependant upon mysterio's question being answered accurately 'When did Noob's ownership change?'

I've been thinking about the Noob Gold Daytona with Green Dial... Not a bad price but not keen if support will be non-existent. maybe time for a KVF RM11 instead lol

I have to wonder...is this possibly an outcome of the shakeup in the supply chain? I imagine that factories are having to play as much catch up as possible...and it may be leaving market areas like this missing the normal skillsets. If that is the case, it would not only impact the Noob factory.

You're responding to a thread from 2019. Supply chain was working fine back then.
