Help changing username

The mods will only do username changes for extremely good reasons. You haven't indicated the reason for wanting to do this, but I think the likelyhood of that happening is remote. Also be advised that having two accounts is not allowed and risks you being banned.

This was originally a throw away account and the username doesn't match my other online personas. Now that I've gotten a little more serious about the trade i want to change my username. I didn't realize it would be so damn complicated.

There was a similar case recently. Some other user wanted to change his username and the administration fulfilled his request. They did so because he used the same username on gen watch boards. From my understanding, based on what you've said previously, you want to do the opposite thing, except you haven't refered to gen watch boards specifically but rather other forums in general.

Let me give you a word of warning here - admins (nor anyone else familiar with the topic, for that matter) don't want too much attention around the rep scene so they prefer people who are also active on gen watch boards not to share their usernames across the boards. So if you're WatchMeGo here and are using a different username on, say, TRF or WUS then it's the way it should be. It's not a violation to use the same username on all forums but it's not recommended. In addition, it can get you on trouble on gen watch boards as some people have a warped understanding of our hobby and equate a rep watch collector with a scammer.
