Hello New Member from Southern U.S.

I found this site after my friend Stan suggested I try it out. He is known here as WackoBirdKeeper and I first met him on a different forum. I am an entry level newbie to reps however I have a fascination with pretty much any automatic watch. I have many Seikos, Vostok, Orient, Deep Blue, and my first rep was an old Sinn U1 purchased M2M on an other forum. I now have about 8 reps all purchased from WBK and Stan has been fantastic to deal with and kind of got me down this rabbit hole. I find this to be a fun hobby however I really am not interested in fooling anyone. If anyone ever did ask about any rep on my wrist I would simply say it is a rep and I like the look. On a personal level I have retired from a large police force (1100 officers) and although I get a pension I wanted to keep working. I am still an officer and work now for a much smaller dept (22 officers). Night shift 6am to 6pm so I am usually online early AM before sleeping all day. Few more years and I will retire again and most likely just go fishing every day.

Nice place you have here however I have to read over some threads and learn my way around. I will most likely then become a contributor and hope to blend in here while learning more about our shared interest in reps. Thanks again for the invite Stan and also to the forum for having me.
