Member since 2008. Back after years away

Hey all,

I have been a member since 2008. The site was always buzzing with activity but I have not visited in a few years. I see talk of factories not up and running and lots of threads with no replies. Can anyone bring me up to speed on any changes I should be aware of...whether its factories being down, activity of members on site...

I purchased almost every rep I have from PureTime but their thread seems to have little activity.

Things have gotten slow on RG with not much posting.

The rage for rep watches is Rolex.

VSF, CF, and BTF are the best rep Rolex factories.

JF was the best rep AP factory and they are no longer around.

VSF is the best rep PAM factory.

Chinese factories were raided about a year ago resulting in limited supply of the higher quality rep watches. Good news is that factories have caught up on demand and are back up and running.

Rolex rep watches are the rage on RG especially Daytona's and subs. Higher end Daytona's have working chronos and no longer have ticking time bomb movements.

Number of posts on RG have declined substantially as there are only about 30 to 40 posts per day.

Modders on RG have moved on.

Rep watches are now of much better quality compared to the past 5 years.

Rep prices have gone up in prices the past few years.
