I meant it made me want a genuine one! I prefer, and do, buy genuine most of the time. I'm here to have a look at some Rolexes and find out a bit more about reps.

For me, excepting Rolex, gens are well-priced and I am always ready to buy, and support Bvlgari. I think they make more inroads and innovations than most give them credit for. I also wear a lot of their products including eyewear.

I'm a named customer with Bvlgari New Bond St, and have been buying from London jewellers from many decades. I'm still not on board with £20,000 on a watch.

Just made an offer on this one: Bulgari Diagono Magnesium for $2,731 for sale from a Seller on Chrono24

The only point at which I get frustrated is the Bvlgari Tourbillon, with the single bottom dial, the gold one.

Only 25 made, £50-65,000. I'd love to wear that watch. But as you say, based on the price for a gen it will never be repped.

As regards non-Rolex reps, I'm interested in looking at them, maybe owning some. But we all have our thresholds. I see the sense in buying a $1k rep of a $35k Daytona. If the rep is good it makes no sense to buy gen.

BUt when it comes to 5-figure Hublots, Pateks etc, I don't see the sense in buying a rep. Yet.
