Newbie from Los Angeles

Hi everybody,

My name is Kampy. I live in Los Angeles. I recently found my way onto the rep forums when I decided to do some research into buying a B&R rep. It's good to find out there are some reputable, trustworthy dealers out there.

If there are any regulars on this forum who have bought Bell & Ross reps, I'd love some advice on what to look for, good dealers, etc...

have a look in the repsale thread.. There is often B&R watches and a lot of them already in usa so no custom problems

Thanks everybody. I think I may be on the verge of buying my first rep from Hont.... (although I do already own 2 reps that my uncle gave me - a Panerai Luminor Marina and a Rolex sub. Neither of which work very well... and then there was that cheap and crappy Gucci rep I wore in college, which I bought off a buddy. but anyway...)

I'm glad I found this forum. Because now I know what to look for and who to deal with. But I still have a lot to learn... I just hope this doesn't turn into an expensive habit!

I moved to LA from the midwest over 12 years ago, and have lived in several different areas around LA and OC since. Just moved from the westside to Sherman Oaks (SF valley) and although the weather is hotter, we love the new neighborhood. Dozens of great ethnic restaurants within walking distance, not to mention some great burger joints. I'm afraid I'm gonna get fat living here

You are so damn right!! The food is amazing and it is the #2 thing I miss the most about living in So Cal

o wait no one walks in LA unless its to the car

definitely a good choice to live south of the Sepulveda pass
the SFV's heat & grime can be as bad as Phoenix AZ which is a full 6 hours away

go to Santee Alley and see how bad the B&Rs can get when you have the time

Hey chronoluvvv,

That's the thing I like best about our new apartment... for the first time since I moved to LA, I actually can WALK a short distance to restaurants, grocery stores, even a couple malls... I'm not the typical Los Angeleno who will get in their car to drive 2 blocks away.

I've always wanted to check out Santee Alley... thanks for reminding me about that place. I'm going to try and get down there soon...
