Embedding youtube videos

Is there a way to embed a youtube video in a post?

I'm sure I have seen it done, but whenever I try it I just get the HTML and no video.

Am I missing something here?, or is it permissions issue?

no... sometimes it doesn't work... that has happened to me too.. just try refreshing and putting it on again. if that doesn't work...then... try restarting the browswer and doing it

I think you can only post them in certainforums. Off topic always works, but any sales thread fails every time.

The youtube site will have an option you "Imbed" top right side. cut and past that code into the "inset link" icon which is one of the "post quick reply" options

Nope tried all of those - still nothing.

Maybe you can't embed vids in the watches sections?

The forum must have a "automatic embedding"-mod installed in the software for this to work.

The vBulletin v 3.6.5 does not have this function built in. If admin has installed it he has to activate it
