I realize this is a bit of an old thread but custom made shirts are available online now. I've heard good things about proper fit.com, although I haven't used them. Shirts can run around $150 - but it is a perfect fit to you and you get to choose fabric, cuffs, monogram, etc. And if your weight is fairly consistent, they will have your measurements when you want to order more.

Recently been buying shirts from Joe Hemrajani. Really great quality fabrics and nice construction. You can find him online at mytailor.com
Bought a few from indochino as well, nice but not as nice as what Joe has been making for me.
I like Charles tyrwitt and hawes and Curtis - amazing value for money for the shirt. Pink is just overpriced imo
And CT I like their non-iron range, although H&C is definitely more challenging to iron. I don't rate TM Levin, and the service you get in their shops is pretty poor
I'm still a good old vivienne westwood krall fan. I love High collars
As some others have already mentioned: Charles Tyrwhitt delivers a good level of quality for the price.

most of my shirts are english, by the likes of turnbull and asser, hilditch and key, curtis and hawes, tm lewin and older thomas pinks. i have gotten some shirts from charles tyrwhitt and would say they are pretty on point for the money, especially the sea island cotton. i've stopped buying from thomas pink when they stopped producing their shirts in the uk as the quality has changed.

I like Van Laack tailor fit but they are more pricey. Sierra trading has them for sale for 60 usd.
I just ordered from ct the first time. Customer service was great and let's see how they will fit. Their current sale with 29 usd for some shirts with free shipping was very attractive.
Whatever shirt brand you choose, I just wanted to let everyone know who reads this that I wear an extra extra extra double slim fit.

Thanks, it's a good idea to share tips on upkeep of shirts also. Like you, I wear one every day even casually it suits me I think.
By pressing them, do you mean you do it yourself or take to cleaners?
I normally dry clean them but usually I scrub the collars and cuffs of any dirt which accumulates, which means don't need to dry clean them as often
Also, I really like the uniqlo t shirts underneath the shirt, which soaks up the sweat and doesn't stain your shirt if you do perspire a lot, or live in humid climate. It works really well even if its 33+ c outside

Someone got me a Banana Republic noniron tailored slim fit as a gift didnt think much of the shirt at first but now have a few of them in my closet.
Donald Trump Groper Shirts are a safe bet for men of high taste.
I've tried all sorts of brands, as well as bespoke and MTM. For the money and my body type (42S jacket, 32W trousers), I like Charles Tyrwhitt's Extra-Slim fit and have the sides taken in. Other RTW brands in their slimmer fits don't work for my broader shoulders and chest.
