attached pictures NOT thumbnails

Whenever I attach a pic to a post, it comes as a thumbnail which must be clicked on to open up. How do I attach full size pics in my posts. I searched the control panel and cannot find anything.

Are these pics from of your own or are you attaching pics from the web?

hey Bdel, picture needs to be on the web, or in an online pic bank like photobucket. then put : [img] url of pic [/img] and there you go. You need to put the letters img in the square brackets and the forward slash in the second brackets with the url in the middle then you get the pic and not the thumb. e.g. [img]http//www.picurl.abc[/img] Cheers

If you load pics on the forum they will show up as thumbnails to reduce bandwidtch consuption. Ergo only those that click on the pictures will it show it full size.

For the threads where you see the large pictures its because they are using an external picture host like photobucket or flickr.
