    Default photo thumb template

im thinking instead of having to go to outside image hosting services to host pics, we could just modify the vB template to show.. full size images?

that way photos dont get lost, and no more 'bandwidth exceeded' BS.

If you want someone to assist with the coding, just let me know PM me or something.

    Cheers

Excuse my non geekiness, but does that mean we could use pics from our computers instead of going to photobucket and the like?

Louis you can just post pics from your computer as well. The reason why the pictures are small is to avoid it eating up the bandwidth on the forum. Believe it not last month we used about 600GB of bandwidth and that was with everyone hosting the pics outside of the fourm. Can you imagine how much more it would be if we hosted all those pictures.

By hosting them on photobucket it directs for the pictures to be loaded from their host and therefore no bandwidth is used up.

Roflwaffle we appreciate the offer. PM sent.

No worries man, didnt know your situation with the bandwidth.

Hrm.. theres probably some other solutions that can be worked out.. photobucket is nice, but god.. i hate it when a sticky'd thread or popular thread gets 'bandwidth exceeded' because.. theres no other option to see em..

or when images get taken down/expire.. sucks
