Hello from the Netherlands

Hello everybody!

I would like to start with a thank you! This forum is a lovely place and so far everybody has been really helpful into making a start here. My love for luxury watches also has become a lot stronger than it initially was and I'm amazed this world of rep watches exists.

The reason I got here is basically due to one brand: Ulysse Nardin. If it's up to me that'll certainly be the brand of my first rep. If somebody knows a lot about this or in wich section I can recieve the best info about it, I'de love to recieve that feedback. What I might have learned in the last couple of days:

What I'm thinking right now, not sure if I'm right... The exclusivity and complexity of this watch will make it really difficult to find (decent price and good quality) and it has so much blue and gold that it screams attention too much, people will start to look at it and you will almost certainly notice quality issues (over time). I'de be better of purchasing a more subtle watch.



2. Having found a more subtle watch in the price range of 100 - 150 euros I'm thinking by myself. Is that really too inexpensive? And by wich means. As a first rep at that price range I'm not expecting it to be a perfect 1:1. Having visited this forum I know a lot of people couldn't bare with that fact. What I do expect is that it keeps running and the quality is decent (I mean: scratch/damage resistance, ability to drop the watch etc.)

I found this model at a really cheap price. It's really the kind of watch I like, but is it any good? Do people have experience with these watches or different kinds from this tore in the same price class. I'm assuming they are both exactly the same models but where should I buy it? Are both websites trustable? TSWatch is cheaper but they even misspelled Ulysse Nardin... Not really trustable if you'de ask me



4. What are things I might have forgotten or don't know about yet?
I think these watches aren't automatic for instance so they'll require batteries. Is this the best way to purchase them or should I get them from specific dealers? Or should I not at all get a Ulysse Nardin because these are much better reps of different brands with similar styled watches?

Every little bit of info will help me so thanks a lot everybody! And of course, if there's a better section of the forum to ask my questions I'de love to place a topic there to discuss more with you guys!
