something wrong with PM's?

What's up guys ..

I've noticed a few things since the site has been back up ..

I have a few watches up for sale, and once the thread was made, it says that there are no viewers, and only one post .. and it stays like that for days. surely i'm not the only one to view my own thread on here. Something's wrong.

And mainly .. for a new watch I've posted. I've gotten 5 pm's on it. I reply, and get nothing back from any of them. Now, maybe its possible none of them want the watch. but then again I don't think that's the case. I'm not getting reply PM's. Anybody else with these problems???

i've people ask details about shipping for my watches and my painting, then just up and decide not to buy...

i think people are just trolling for more info when they pm you, but never really intend on actually buying anything from you...

the people in the past who have actually put money down on the table and bought my watches, etc. just did it...maybe a negotiation or two, but not questions about details and then ignored pm's...

it's very possible, emerica, that the pm's are not getting lost, but the receivers just don't have enough courtesy to reply to you once you've answered their question....and worse yet, a pm does not really imply intent to buy, just simple boredom on the part of the troller...

Something is definitely wrong. Repgeek has been buggy as hell since it went down for a few days, and then back up.

Today, I am getting database load errors...I am also getting a new PM popup when I don't have any unread PMs, and no matter what I do, they don't go away.

I also noticed the site takes MUCH longer to load, refresh, etc, and this is from 5 different computers.

Me too!
PMs always turn unread and the notification keeps popping up all the time.
Only solution: I deleted the new ones but now all the PMs from yesterday are unread...

I still have Zero email notification of PMs received...
I've adjusted setting all different ways... logged in and out... nothing... I hate it!

Same here - still no PM notifications and no subscription notifications. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

it's really annoying... I don't think they know, or believe, it's broken.
The email notification is what makes it easy to Geek on my iPhone...

We know about it. It works for some and not for others. Im still trying to track this down, believe me its not easy when its half broken.

Hi Sylar,

Any luck with this. I think it keeps a lot of people from visiting the board more frequently. Any commonalities between who is working and who is not? Has anybody come up with a work around? I would cancel my account and re-subscribe but it would suck to lose your post count and VIP membership.
