Default Hi from OZ and a big thank you

Looks like you are all stuck with another Australian member!! Please hang in there and I'll tell you how I ended up here..

I've always been a closet watch geek but have never really done much about it. Own a few nice Jap watches but always wanted something better, however a $15K Rollie was not an option What finally kicked me off was a post on a car forum that I belong to with a guy bragging about his Seamaster that he paid a squillion bucks for... I liked the watch but not the price so I started looking around. As most noobs do, I soon found a thousand places that would sell me a Rolex for bugger all. It all looked too good to be true, so I hunted around for independent advice. After nearly falling for a couple of scam review sites I ended up here!

Yesterday I ordered a UPO from Andrew and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. I should also mention that before I ordered, I bombarded him with several question emails and every one was answered within an hour. If his watches are anywhere near his customer service then I'm on a winner!!

My biggest problem is now I have the disease... I've bookmarked at least 10 watches that I MUST own!! I'll end up divorced (again) if I buy all 10 but if I don't get at least an Explorer II and an Aquaracer life won't be worth living.... It's all your fault By-Tor

    See you in the forums
    John.

    Welcome...
It will only get worse for a month or two, and they you will stop needing to have EVERY watch. There is something about sticking it to the man and getting the same look for 1/10th the price...
I almost feel like I'm cheating
Have a good time cruising around, hopefully you have some sick days you can take while you stay on RG too late.

I'm in same situation. This is a great forum. Are you getting the explorer II with correct hand stack? Who has them now?

I think River still has some white faced Exp IIs with the correct stack. Unfortunately he doesn't have any black ones left which is what I was after..
