An Englishman in LA

Haven't stopped reading this site since I found it! I can already tell the wife is going to get annoyed at my new obsession before long (my other ones aren't too cheap either!) but at least she's interested in this one.

I'm English but currently in LA - probably moving back to Blighty in the summer. Looking forward to learning lots more. The only mechanical watch I currently own is an old Oris Super 17 (so hardly much to write home about) and I'm an impoverished grad student at present, so a rep or two will be just the thing!

Ah you know, there are just some things that you miss living here. Four seasons. Working public transport. A decent cup of tea. History and culture. Not essential to life, but maybe I'm stuck in my ways now!
