Yeah, that's not good. People should stick with whatever agreement is reached. That is at least an unwritten rule.![]()
yeah, happened to me once with a well respected member on the forum..I got the watch 2-3 weeks after he got mine..![]()
First class is usually just as fast as priority within the US..
If it's not agreed upon, that's fine. OP said agreed upon shipping method.
I sent and it was received yesterday, my watch still not here! It seems that this time priority was much faster.
I'm sorry to hear that dude I myself consider that bad bad practice.
Definitely bad form especially considering there is no tracking info at all with 1st class mail.

@denisegold: Did the other party use delivery confirmation?

I don't know how it happened or who it happened to, and there's no doubt it sucks but today I was shipping a few parcels and one was a watch I sold over the weekend, I almost forgot to send it with tracking and signature because of the other parcels. Not saying that it was what happened but it could be that maybe the person forgot to mention it. I know that PO also works differently there but not really sure how he sent it.

If you specify tracked shipping and don't do it, no excuse. If you don't mention shipping, then anything is fine (but good form suggests at least Priority). The OP specified shipping was agreed upon -- that's it. Having a hard time understanding people defending poor practice here...
