This has been slowed down about a month ago and if you slow it more it will defeat its purpose, therefore I don't think any more changes will be made to the scroll bar at this time.
Sylar will be concentrating on trying to solve the DB problems over this weekend.

no kidding it actually hurts my eye watching it move; seems to vibrate whilst moving so I just hover over to stop.

same here, its painful to watch, especially when your reading a post and you can see it in your peripheral vision.

Sometimes it makes me travel sick !!

no the scrolling this is good to keep. It defeats the purpose if the scroll is too slow. Perhaps the admins can make it a scrolling list and let it scroll up/down with multiple links instead of left/right a single link at a time.

Mods, can we take a vote on this?
    a) Should we keep the sideways scroll?
    b) If the sideways scroll is kept, should it be slowed down?
