100 Posts to sell ?

I was just going to list a rep of mine I no longer wear to sell and it turns out I do not have 100 posts? I undestand there has to be some control but I have been reading and even purchasing from dealers for over a year? I guess I will have to put up 75 more welcone to RG's to new members and a bunce of "nice's" to members postings .... does that make me more a member of teh group or just wasting 75 posts

Or you could just upgrade to VIP after a year and a half of being here.

100 QUALITY posts... saying "welcome" and "nice watch" will get you closer to getting banned than to selling.

Bill-

The requirement is set in place for a reason. That reason is simple:

A member who is an active contributing member of this community will be less likely to rip someone off than someone who takes no interest in his fellow board members.

It's not foolproof by any means but it cuts down on hit & run scams.

You may also upgrade to VIP and help support the forum and be able to sell as many as you want in the VIP section.

The other guys in this thread are right though- posting 60 "Nice watch" posts in succession usually gets your post count reduced to 1. We do watch out for those things

RG is not a marketplace to drop your unwanted stuff. Selling in RG is a previledge that you aquire by either supporting the forum through a small donation (VIP Upgrade) or through contribution to the boards by means of 100 posts.

Posting +1 style posts will lead you to your post count being reset and ultimately if that fails to do the job to a permanent ban from the forums.
