Thanks, Chris! A different wy to do bag pictorial. I will sneak a gun (where to get one?) in one of my next ones. That will bring it all full circle, I think. LOL

Gee, Charlie, I'm sorry you had a bad day. And I'm glad this could pick you up a little. I've learned, with Joy Browne podcasts on laundry night, that stupid and cheerful works best to get through the day, usually. Let the h*t roll off your back like water off a duck. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him get that brid out of his bush. I think this mix of champagne and vicodin is making me mix my metaphors. LOL In any case, I am slowly writing a new one. Read it when you get a chance!

    What a post!
The Birkin bag, discussion about the Porsche Big Blue, getting us all to think about breaking budgets, and then topping it off with brilliant pictures. All of the "B's" covered in an A-class effort.
Its a crackerjack article Posh - and I know that I am not alone in waiting for your next review.
Thanks for the mighty read. You rock!
And you mix as many metaphors as you want - it is a bright spark in the days of many people!
    Have a terrific day!

I'm glad you liked it, Mac. Your appreciation is appreciated. And any opportunity I get to her British Empire vernacular, I swoon! Thanks, love!

Default Beauty and the Beast(s): A Porsche, a Panerai and a purse (Birkin)!

Kewl thread! Posh, you have an interesting job. I'd love to do what you do.

What's your learned opinion on women's jewelry. I'm looking to get wifey something nice for Xmas. Watch comparison wise, she doesn't like Rolex because it's just too common. [edit]

I looked online and saw that Harry Winston was a top brand and I personally thought the Van Cleef & Arpels are amazing. Got some VCA pics below. Any tips or specific recommendations?

    Cheers!

Thanks you for reading and enjoying the post! My job's only interesting if you love conference calls, spreadsheets and tacky schmooze fests masquerading as information events. The intimate three-ways, which sound like they would be fun depending on which member of the investment banking department is going (Rarn!), they expressly prohibit. LOL Any husband who will VC&A his wife is a real find. If I hear another question about a Pandora charm bracelet (yes, they've made it up to the C-suite), I think I'll scream. Old lady tchotchke bingo bracelets are not my idea of passion! It sounds like you're man of taste, so I'll PM you some firms you may not be aware of and have not considered. Haute joallerie is filled with more exclusive names than you may realize. Yes, you have your Leighton's, Lane's and Winston's but I believe you'll still be very pleased with my recommendations and of what these other artist's are capable.
