I'm having a man make a watch - a Seiko movement - with nicer hands and better lume for me.
It's an Omega Seamaster face with the wavy lines, and a lumed - different colored bezel.
I'm in Malaysia, and he is in Thailand. He has been very, VERY helpful with a hundreds of questions and details. Really nice. Very patient.
He asked me what kind of strap I want, and I thought to go with a metal bracelet, as I've never owned one.
He send me some links but they were as expensive as the watch itself : about USD 150.
Am I being unreasonable?
The bracelet is 20 mm with curved endlinks.
I looked thru Ali Express and found some very inexpensive choices which he (probably laughed at) and said they were garbage. However, I bought 5 leather bands and some other odds and ends for about USD 40. They were very, VERY nice. In fact, I was shocked. So, I thought the same would be for metal bracelets. He said the metal and the leathers are NOT the same.
Are suggestions?
