Hey folks at this fine website. I was about to buy a rolex daytona for about $1500 when I came across this website and prevented a major ripoff. Good thing is that I research everything I buy...still; it's part luck that I came across this site. Since then (about a year ago), I've been learning so much about these watches. I now own a Panerai 111H rep and a U Boat 53mm Left Hook rep (recent). It's such a fun hobby and I've just learned so much about even Gen watches. Again, thanks for the info and I think I might even know enough to give advice. There is a guy living in my apt. building and I recommended him here. He also owns a 111H rep and is very happy with it.

Welcome to the site bro. You really do find just about everything you could EVER want to know about reps and gens right here!!

I was in your situation, but took the plunge and bought a crap Omega rep from an 'unauthorized' dealer before researching more and finding the site.
