New but not noob

Greetings.. I'm fairly new to repgeek but not new to collecting both reps and gens. I took some time off after collecting a good number of watches because I didn't really see any new ones that knocked me out. I love the IWC BP but it was a $99 piece of crap back then.. now look at it!!! wooohooooo!!! Awesome watch.. I can even read the date w/o putting glasses on! I'll post some pics of my babies soon.. I'm not sure what it is about watches that just gets under your skin.. certain feeling you get wrapping that beautifully designed hunk of steel around your wrist. What is it ? Anybody know?
