Hi all, i am fairly new to the forum. I have been on here for a few months but not too active. Recently i started playing with a few reps i have, and here is what i did to tonys $99 special PAM 186 which had a loose flimsy CG lever.(not sure if thats what you call it.

First i opened up the existing hole to a 1/16" and plugged it with a brass plug 1/16"

Then i drilled a 1.2 mm hole for the existing pin to tightly fit through.

Then i reassembled the crown-guard and sanded the pin flush to the surface, followed by brushing it to match the finish of the case. and here is the result. you don't see most of the job done, but it feels way bette than it was.
