Hello

My Name is David and I am from Germany.
I had Love for watches since I got my first digital Casio at the age of 8 or so.
Unfortunately I do not own that watch anymore. But by the time growing older I loosely started to learn a lot more about Watches and so on. After I finished studying law and started working, I bought my first Gen, a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Callibre 5 without Boxes and Papers from
Chrono24 and I was so in Love.

A few years later into a new Job, stable and financially healthy I bought my first „OOP Gen“: A Breitling Superocean Heritage II Black Dial on Rubber Strap. That was also the time I fell in love with Rubber-Straps to Metallic Clasps. Totally in love with that watch, but still I wanted the Crown. So I saved up fast and nearly got into a fight with my wife, but I managed to buy a Vintage Sub 16610 from 1992. And due to my love for Rubberstraps I bought a black Rubber B from an AD just around the corner of my hometown. Looks really nice imo.

But still, there is always that longing for „more watches“. I am not that kind of Rockefeller, that my shopping spree could go on that way, so I needed to calm myself and started to safe up some money „for whatever the future may bring“.
I was skeptical on Reps due to the common talking in other Forums like the Uhrforum or on YouTube. Also most Reps I saw were „Canal-Street-****“ from Egypt /
Turkey.

Then I saw that Video from Watchfinder Co where he compares the Daytona 116500LN with the Noob V2.2 and was flashed. After few weeks of thinking about this watch, I started to lurk on RWI Forums and Here and learned a lot. This was Eye-opening for me. I love so many different styles of watches and owning them all in gen would be impossible. And Hommage-Watches didn’t hit me in any way.

Then I took some of my saved money and ordered the Noob V3 with CF Bezel from Li. Now I am here and waiting for my Daytona to arrive.

Hope I will be welcomed here and learn even more about Reps.

Best Regards!
David
