Hi from Melbourne...and a question

Hi all.
Im from Melbourne Australia and while pretty new to the Rep Watch world - love what I see.

My question to the more experienced Geeks out there refers to Photographing watches. I see that for sales/trades and many general threads members take incredible pictures of their watches. I had a go at home and the results were horendous.

Are there any guidelines here on the forum or some pointers for a newbie - I'm guessing its more to do with the light and angles than it is with the camera.

Melbourne here as well mate.

The best piece of advice I can give would be to take the watch outside into the sunlight and practice out there with your camera.
If you can maybe make a little light tent or as I did stick some white paper together, put your watch in there and photograph away.

What make of tag is that? Brings back wonderful memories! I remember eyeing it as a wee lad....now i want it again!!!!
