Regarding the search function. I've noticed (for some time now) that when I do an advanced search on my user name (specifying 'find posts from a week ago and newer'), it doesn't turn up with anything newer than 10/4/09. I KNOW, I've posted since then.
Yeah -- same problem.
It sucks since I am a member! they say they are working on it.

I've head a problem with search being slow for several weeks now. However it's not that bad.

these searches seem to work fine for me, and bring up all my most current posts, try that................... Still doesn't cure all the other problems this forum is experiencing right now, but will help your dilemma.............

The search is a weak point in vb, thats a fact. Settings can be changed, but it not easy to find the optimal setup. 3.8 have the tagging, and that improves the system significantly.
So it does work but slow????
I tried looking for some older stuff & it kept going searching for about 10 min. Strange. It worked better for me before... hhhmmm.....
