Noob from Oregon

Hello all. Just joined this site after hearing about it from another site (rwg). I generally absorb what I can and avoid asking dumb questions, so I am in lurk mode for the most part until I learn enough to contribute more. After drinking from the firehose over there, I became a Panerai freak, I have purchased 2 thus far (fiddy and a 187), and am always searching for the best Fiddy I can find to replace the relatively good one I have now. My new object of my affection is a Breitling SA, just trying to ascertain what to look for and whether I should jump in.

Glad to have found this site, as the folks here seem to be incredibly smart. Looking forward to reading more everyday and perhaps getting my hands on a new Fiddy!

Super Avenger or Skyland Avenger. I have both, and they're both great. What part of Oregon are you from?

Just outside of Portland. Great area, I've lived in Bay Area, Chicago, and Wisconsin - Portland has the best qualities of all those places.

As for the SA - I really like both , and as much as I have my eyes on the Super Avenger, I really like the Skyland Blacksteel as well.

Heh, I'm going to be up near you later this week. As far as the watches go, I have a Skyland V2 which is awesome minus the lume. I have 2 Super Avengers. One is a V1 which is pretty good to my eyes, minus the bezel. Luckily the V1 can take a gen bezel, which I purchased recently. My other is a V2 with a gen dial and gen Pro I bracelet. The V2 is better overall, but can't take a gen bezel without some serious work. Anyway, look around the Breitling forum for some ideas. The big Bentleys are very nice.
