Default MODS: Can you add a spell check?

    We need it desperately.

I tend to type very fast and make errors and find myself spending 10 mins on a post just spell checking. If I dont know the words spelling I'll have to google it.

I'd appreciate it if you'd add spell check like on an email account.

    Thanks

You could always open up a new word document, spell check it and then cut and paste into the forum. Works great.

Slow down typing and read a book ever now & again so that you'll expand your personal vocabulary.

You could always just add "PAM" to the beginning of every word. That way people will immediately recognize your superior intellect and realize that any spelling error is the computer's fault, not yours.

    Kind of like PAM latin

As does Chrome. (very handy indeed)

And a spell checker would not have pointed out the error

    +1 that's what I use. Works like a charm.

Now many here will need the browser to add a grammar check too (myself included)

What we really need is a grammar checker that is enforced on every post.
It would stop the likes of Dave123 from ever posting again

Side - I use Firefox and it automatically underlines incorrect spelling which you can have corrected.

For IE users, you can download ieSpell and have it reside on your toolbar. It's free and very simple to use.
