Where to Start just for new RepGeeks?

How about you remove the 100 post requirement for making new threads? This would promote two things:

1) It would add credibility to the forums "1 million posts" advertisement, as the ad would no longer be tarnished by the thought that it was really just 10,000 users each making 100 garbage posts

and more importantly;

2) It would let new users, such as myself, obtain the information they need when deciding to join the forum and being unable to find a suitable post.

Ummm, is there a 100 post minimum to start a new thread? Are you sure that isn't just in the trade area?

Exactly.

Perhaps understanding how things work before criticizing should be a rule.
