    Default My Humble Collection

Just wanted to introduce myself and show a quick and dirty pictorial of my humble collection.
I've been very active on RWI for the past couple of years (over 2500 posts) and am finding this new home quite comfortable. I appreciate the welcome I've received.
WARNING: A photog I am not! I can barely work my point-and-click.
Some Vintage and a Baylor watch my son gave me:

A couple of Casios, a Stuhrling double-barrel, and a Ladies Tag Link (rep):

SL Tungsten, Croton "Sad Clown", Russian watch all in Cyrillic, Herc Pam homage:

Some vintage stuff from late 1910's to early 1950s:

    More Vintage Stuff:

    Some of my favorite gens:

Some of my favorite high-end reps:

More Favs. Seiko, DSN Ti Pam, Fiddy, IWC 3717, another UPO:

    A few lower-end Rolex reps:

An Invicta that is 53mm w/o crown X 70mm lug-to-lug and 15mm thick. It weighs as much as a Buick. Shown with my 45mm LumTec for comparison:

A Stuhrling and an Invicta (on 26mm strap):

My mom loves ShopNBC and buys me these Invictas, Crotons, Renatos and Suhrlings often. A couple of Invicta Ocean Ghosts and a Lucien Piccard:

Two Wakkman Triple-Dates. Left is my grandfather's 1957 model which spawned my love of timepieces. Right is a 1962 model. Both restored at no small expense. Very rare watches:

A 1920's Abra - on the original strap, in the original box, with the original warranty paper, display tag, and price tag ($25). Works perfectly:

    Watch Box #1:

    Watch Box #2:

An overflow drawer (2 others have boxes and straps):

Thanks for letting me waste your time!

Well that is definitely what I would call a variety

Normally I'd make some remark about the Rolexes, but since you've got good enough taste to own a DSN082, I'll leave it alone
WTB: DSN "old turquoise with black sub-dial" 089 dial

22mm Panerai rounded buckle for 204 Wempe

I may not be the brightest bulb in the box, but I still stand out from the rest

Wow quite the collection there! A very well rounded one with a taste of everything. I think everyone will agree that you need a few more PAMs in there though. =)

    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, guys. My fiancee' wears the Breitling SOSF, so it's not in the pics, as well as several gens and reps I've given my kids and my brother, including some WWII German issue watches with stamped HEER issue record numbers (all confirmed original by my very trusty watch smith).
My taste runs the gamut. I may end up with a couple more Pams in the future, but the A7750 movement is such a crap-shoot right now that I'm holding off on the ones I like. Couldn't tell you which ones those are, though. Pams all look alike to me!

Thanks! The cases are from AceTimer. They are worth twice what they cost. I need another, but have decided I will probably sell a few watches soon. Many never get wrist time.
I used to have a U-Boat and a DSSD V5, but hated them both and gave them away to friends on RWI.

Hahaha, your "Humble Collection" - you probably have a mansion in the countryside you refer to as your "cottage". Nice collection, I really like the variety, you should try to take some fancier pictures. It is much easier then you would think with the help of some of the guides on here

Not exactly a mansion, but in the countryside:
