I recall reading that everything would be back to normal by this weekend. The weekend is almost over.

I still look like an inexperienced newbie with almost no posts. I had quite a few insightful posts in the repair section, and had some good PM communications with some members, all of which are still gone. Are they gone forever?

As we speak, its being worked on.

The initial merge has been repaired. A custom code has to be written for each process- I'm pushing them as hard as I can.

Shouldn't be too much longer.

talk to your dealer first, before raising it to the admin...

Guys, honestly, the odds of getting any of the "lost" data restored is probably non-existant. If they had it, it would have been used instead of going back to an old backup. Further, any merging of data is a nightmare to do... members lost accounts (including me) and re-signed up. It's a pretty tough process to merge two sets of forum data... assuming the lost data still exists.

I think it'd be prudent to just say whether the data will or won't be restored, and put an end to it.

Apparently all the lost stuff is retrieveable but it's been 2 weeks now, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
