Hello All!

Perused the site for a day, figured I should post! I am a 25 year old college student, fresh out of the Army and back home from Iraq. Looooove watches, and bought my first rep- a sub of course, only to be so angry at the quality I ripped it off my wrist. Mainly because the clasp would not open! What a waste. I bought it from replicas99.com. Horrible everything. Cyclops was not centered and uneven, there were fibers underneath the crystal, datewheel was alll screwed up, no numbers in between the lugs.

Anyway, read all of the newbie stuff, should have come here earlier! You guys seem so nice here. Right now just trying to purchase my first one, really wanting something flashy like a lumed sub-c(notice how I'm using all of the correct terms!) or some type of Rolex. I just need to pop my cherry.

In closing, thanks for the great site, I am learning more and more every day, and if anyone has a nice, heavy sub they don't wear anymore, I would love to take it off there hands and get in the game! Thanks guys!

If ya want flashy ditch the Rolex idea and go straight to Breitling or Omega.

Think Ploprof, Seawolf or Super Avenger and you're in the ballpark with masculine chinks of metal that also happen to keep time.

I was gonna say Sub-C, (the new Ceramic Submariner), if you want the heaviest of subs. It's a little bigger than standard Subs, and wears big, too. I'm 6'1", 300 lbs, and it looks fine on my ham-wrists. Hate to break it to ya, but your cherry is popped already, on a cheap, nasty piece of garbage, BUT, now it only gets better!
