Hello to all from the "Logic Vacuum" i.e. Washington DC .

Got my first taste of the replica world yesterday. I happily opened my first package (more to come, I am definitely sure now) from Josh.

I am currently sporting my 42mm Planet Ocean rep with rubber strap. . I'm a little nervous since this is the first automatic I have ever owned, but time will teach.

Unfortunately, now I am getting greedy and want to order a SMP blue as well as black. Gotta learn to pace myself.

For all, thanks for all the advice on reputable dealers. I was almost a victim of globalreplica, so research and good advice make for a happy ending.

Now the wife and I have an excellent resource for choosing our next watch purchase. I am a pretty devout Omega fan, but she is flexible.

Welcome to the board Marty, I to was a total Omega fan, had the blinders on, and straight ahead to all that was Omega ......... then out of the corner of my eye I spotted this big, ugly monstrosity, and thought who the hell would wear one of those.......... but the more I looked, the more sorry I felt for this outcast......... and all of a sudden I find myself making a snap purchase from another member of his ugly watch......... you know, just to give the poor thing a good home where it would be loved......... well, to make a long story short, that watch opened my eyes to other brands, but especially the, not ugly, but beautiful Panerais, of which I now own 2 and am planning more, paneraitis is an insidious and expensive disease, so be careful out there, go slow, and remember there is NO cure for what we all have in this place!!! And you don’t even get a rash, to warn you not to infect others!! So enjoy the ride, and hook your friends so you all have something to talk about after the game, ha-ha
