    good to see you back! i have made many bad bag purchases and can attest to the piping thing. until i found repgeek i bought my husband some bad rep watches and bags. thanks to knowledge around here we're good. what methods do you use to take the bags to that last color stage?

    Well, while I still recommend letting it patina naturally for as long as you can, there's a method I learned from my pal over in another forum, CharlestonMom. It's ingenious!

    You take the bag to the salon and pop it in the tanning bed. That's right. The tanning bed. I took it the level beyond that and put a little tanning lotion on it. It has given my bags a golden brown hue that's just gorgeous. Some people looked at my funny but I didn't care. I'm like, "How else am I going to get my fake Vuitton dark enough to carry??" LOL
