    Default Men's Dress Shirt recommendations

Wasn't sure where to post this, mods please move if inappropriate to this section.

The short of it is, I'm done with the department store stuff. It doesn't fit well, fabric quality is horrid, collars are never stiff enough. Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren ... i gave them a good 10 years through training and my early career, I think it's time to move on.

I've read a bit about the Jermyn Street shirt maker's and spoken to friends who have some PINK and Charles Tyrwhitt shirts ... a colleague of mine swears by Hilditch and Key. So many choices out there!

Give me your recommendations and experiences. My price range goes up to 75 bucks a shirt, but i'd rather keep it in the TM Lewin or Tyrwhitt price range (around 50). Greatly appreciate it guys and gals.

Mostly wear black or gray slacks with Allen Edmonds (oxfords and monk strap options) on the feet.

brooks brothers. they have sales twice a year where their $135-200 shirts are like $50-75. the "regular" shirts are good (like $75 normally?), but their super premium shirts are even better.

BB is definitely in the running as well as is JAB, thanks for the suggestions guys. Anything else a little more off the traditional path?

I do TM Lewin, Hawes & Curtis as well as Charles Tyrwhitt. I have always found those to my liking. Although I will say I am moving away from TM a bit these days. The other two are excellent, especially if you like bolder patterns.

Never been a fan of the Brooks Brothers fit.

Not sure if you have it, but I really appreciate the Nordstrom shirts, both their tailored options and the some of the out of the box ones as well. 75-150 or so a a shirt.

Most of my shirts are TM Lewin St James slim fits. They fit me perfectly and they have tons of patterns/colors.
Too many reps... This is more costly than a drug addiction.

I think there are about 85 people in North America who can pull off a slim fit. Everyone else is obese, or "skinny-fat" (heard "skinny-fat" on the radio a month or so ago and have been obsessed with it since. We are ALL gonna die over here... ya'll best build some boats.)

I like Bugatchi Uomo, but I never go better than pushing the limits of business casual (right off the field into the ditch). Usually, when I find one which isn't too loud they'll also have some kind of floral pattern embroidered/stitched/printed onto them, which I am down with. The flowers balance out all the h8n I am radi8n.
