    Default DLC update, incentive offer

    ok,
this has been slow to take off, and normally i would just ditch the project, but this isnt something i think we should pass on.
the coating is seriously the best i have ever seen! so i had a sit with the company and convinced them to do a half price run for me for the first 10!
that means for the first ten spots you will pay 225 rather than 425 same aprox time frames etc.
this is only to get a few out there and let you guys see the results, i will go back to the table to see if i can get the price a touch better for the future runs
but i wouldnt bet on it.
you may pm me or email directly neckyzips@gmail.com

there are several spots still open they are filling up pretty fast!!!

Still available? At this price does it include just sending the case or entire intact watch?

Totally new to DLC coatings. But have researched them a bit before I found this. I have a Pam 028a. I have two cases for it, pencil lead (its on the way from DSN with this PVD crown guard) and normal PVD. What would I need to do to get one coated? Let me know. Forgive the DLC newbie questions but many prob on here are new to custom DLC as well so many me looking stupid will help others. I'd like my Pam DLC for sure. What would I need to do or buy to get it ready to coat?

typicly this is something you do to a stainless case, or any conductive material. DLC "diamond like coating" tends to be difficult to remove with out messing up the case.
its not painted on nor can it be applied over existing pvd or dlc coated surfaces.

so im not sure of your question, do you want to have a stainless steel case coated, or do you want to have a case that already has a coating on it re-coated?

The case I have is PVD coated, and I rather it DLC. But now I understand. I do not have any SS cases to be able to do it. Bummer. I totally understand. It can't be done unless its metal otherwise a PVD case out need to be stripped.

Well, maybe next time if I can find a reasonable way of removing old coatings.

I have a 029 that I am considering for this procedure.

Would the cost be the same if I just send the parts to be coated without the movement and crystal?

    Please advise.

    Thanks
