Hi All -
Just here from Australia - been an admirer of Panny's for a long-long time - just picked up a fairly ordinary clone in Beijing three weeks ago - contemplating the real deal - but want to test drive some more "faithful reps before sinking the dough into the investment.

Funny thing is I like my 250RMB clone... LOL

Oh well - I'm a fiddy fan since they were released five years ago - so I might need to get a DSN ultimate as the first quality rep... We'll see.

Hello and Welcome... lucky you.. picking $30.00ish some dollar rep.. can you show us the pictures... must be a fun trip in beijing..

I own a gen and a rep... love the quality at almost nothing compare to the gen..... So watch out.. you might end up all reps instead of gen...

I think its a PAM 0048 rep...

I've been scoping out some of the RepGeek recommended dealers and they offer much more faithful reps! At somewhat more to pay - but hey...

Hi All,
So please see below the super cheap Panny rep from Beijing. After only spending a couple of minutes when I got back to the hotel comparing it to the original on the site - it's pretty easy to spot... but the classic look remains - which is what I like. The crown is way too thin, the second hand is far to close to the minute and hour hands, the text is not screen printed very well, the back plate has the 1000m diving plate, the crown guard lever is VERY loose and not flush, the glow lasts for about 2 seconds, and the AR is too blue (illustrated in this pic)...

But all this known and considered... I still like it.. which scares me - as I'll like the closer ones EVEN more... LOL. I really need to get a gen- but it'll have to wait a while...

Lightroom good bargaining skills but man there is all kinds of wrong with that watch man. You can get a much much better rep from the dealers here.

Oh yes I realise there are almost worlds wrong with it... LOL - and believe me I'm checking out a lot of the dealer's reps.... Trying to make the decision on whats first is a bit o' fun...
