vdb face lift!
this started life as a vdb 6152-1 a really nice watch, it just needed some NECKY! (im not very good at self promotion, so i thought id give it a go, let me know if it fits me...)
it was a bit of sorts, the case and bezel were warped out of shape by about 2mm at the worst point. after sticking it in the vice with some shims it came back then a flat plate sanding and a bit of machining it all came together.
the crystal will be swaped for a gen, its just a temp. the dial is ross, and the hands, hell i have no idea. im sure they were expensive, lol. its got a beautiful strap waiting at home and a nice thick display back.
this rebuild took over 30 hours, (yes i kept track), wew! im glad its over, well except for some polishing, and tweeking here and there. but the hard part is done.
now i hate to send it back! anyone have 3k i can borrow? ill gladly pay you back thursday!
