Welcome to RG LeoRolex! RG in this case is the abbreviation for RepGeek, not rose gold Good first moves, reading and the best place to start is the beginning. IMO anyway. If you haven't already read "rep buying 201, expectations" and "beginners guide to ordering a rep," these 2 are a must.

9 times out of 10 when a noob buyer doesn't know how the purchase process works, and not every TD works the same, or they don't know what to expect, problems occur. Usually only because of lack of knowledge and information.

The next best places to read are in the different TD sections. How each TD accepts orders, their policies on lost goods if any or returns and shipping. A must is also reading the TD's feedback from RG members. This can really help you decide who to do business with.

Next is read the reviews of the different rep models. Learn the differences, the tells, any known problems and then decide on what rep is right for you and take the plunge! Oh, don't forget to let us know your choice, how it's going and most important, post pics!

    Good luck!

    Welcome to the club!
Erock1 has given you some great advice. I would add, although super-reps are expensive, they are usually (note I said usually) worth the extra. Find the watch you like, and research the models available.
    Have fun!
