Hello from Atlanta & first order

Hi to everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself and mention that I just ordered my first rep. I had never considered reps until I watched this video with John Mayer talking about watches and then my curiosity was stirred. Seeing the prices of gen watches naturally sent me to consider reps.

I now have placed my first order for this watch.

I'm actually not 100% sure which watch this is LOL. I love the look of Panerai and wanted an automatic 44mm or less watch in black. This fit the bill. It also didn't hurt that it was not too expensive seeing as how I'm not sure about the whole rep watch scene.

The pictures on that product show 2 different watches so not sure which one I'll get. Of course I had to get into this right before CNY so now I have to wait 'till March 2nd just to get some questions answered. Oh well.

I suggest you do research first before purchasing anything. Reading related threads can give a clearer picture of what you want. People here are professionals and mature so you can ask anything whenever you feel you've reached a dead end in your research.

For your question, better check the date a TD posted the watch, at least you'll have an idea if the item is newly released or has been in the market for quite sometime...all of us wanted the latest of course, considering reliability is mostly important.
